This is a great meal for breakfast or diner meal. Takes about 30 minutes to prepare. Makes 1 German Pancake.

So lets get started!

Utensils and oven setting:

  • Preheat over to 325 degrees
  • One Large mixing bowl
  • 10" cast iron skillet 
  • 1 hand blender


  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 1Tbs of vegetable Oil
  • Butter (Topping)
  • Lemon Juice (topping)
  • Powder sugar (topping)
  • Optional - Canned or fresh cut fruit (topping)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Once preheated place the cast iron skillet in the oven for 15 minutes. 

 During the time your are preheating the cast iron skillet start putting the ingredients together. Picture #1

Add to your mixing bowel the flour, eggs, oil and milk. With your hand held blender blend the ingredients until a smooth consistent texture forms. Picture #2

Remove the cast iron skillet from the oven and pour all of the mixture into the skillet. Place the skillet back into the oven and set the timer for approximately 13 minutes. Picture #3

When the timer goes off. Checking to make sure that the top is golden brown. Removed the skillet and with a pancake flipper remove the pancake.

Garnish with power sugar, butter and lemon to taste. Bon appite!

#3 Place cast iron skillet back in the oven for 13 minutes.

Blend all ingredients. #2


#1 Heat skillet in the preheated oven for 15 min.
